  • Bacalaitos:  Traditional Puerto Rican codfish fritters, with a little extra zip!

  • Pastelillos (Empanadillas): Spicy meat-filled turnovers, appetizer-sized!

Choose two Rice Dishes . . .

  • Red Rice and Beans:  A non-traditional recipe using West Indian pumpkin!

  • Rice and Peas, Jamaica:  A little sweet, a little hot!

  • Moros Y Cristianos: A Cuban dish, black beans and white rice.

  • Arroz con Gandules:  Traditional Puerto Rican Christmas dish of rice and pigeon peas.

  • Trinidadian Beans and Rice:   Subtly coconutty, with a hint of Island heat!

  • Pois et Riz, Haitienne:   Simply seasoned, traditional Haitian beans and rice.

  • Garbanzos y Chorizos:  Not hot, but interesting chick-peas-in-the-pot, inspired by a mixed heritage of Spanish, Moorish, African and Caribbean cooks.

  • Arroz con Pollo:  Classic chicken and rice, Spanish cooking with an Island accent!

  • Ropa Vieja: Savory beef stew done up in the Cuban style.

  • Island Grilled Chicken:  Two Caribbean traditions meet here: grilling and exquisite seasonings.  Chicken grilled with cilantro, garlic, cumin, oregano, coriander, pepper, achiote, and more!

  • Montuno Cubano:  Sensational Cuban stir-fried pork.

  • Biftec Encebollada:  Sliced marinated steak, seasoned and browned in the skillet, served with crisp, white crunchy onions.
